Because they are feeding titles into classification function and based on what they don't like which they've established before, they kill the post before anyone can see it. NH is criminal and they'll never release the source code because they will be punished for what they're doing.
Curation and moderation aren't "criminal," and HN doesn't release their fork of Arc Forums because it contains business code for YC that would be a hassle to get rid of, but the original is open source. People come here because they want that high barrier to entry for content. If you just want a firehose of random shit go to Reddit.
AI is a tool and you have to learn how to use it. You do that in a place called school. I guess, they're afraid kids will learn the truth. It must be to stun their growth as there's no other explanation. You wouldn't ban AI in math class because at that age there is no application. But if there is computer lab, or laptops, i don't see what the problem is except them finding out the truth. It's just protection from future competition by stunting their growth. Modern kids are so uneducated that AI would benefit them no matter how they continued to exist.
You soon won't be able to afford to thank if they start decommissioning old models unless you run local. You are literally wasting energy, it's like leaving your care running for a few minutes for no reason.
because the caller is not experienced with the options or how to execute them correctly, what words to say, how long of pause to take, background noises, different other triggers. we know how the automated system works, but the caller is just angry if they don't get a human.
