I see no difference anymore. I used Windows because it worked and didn't break obvious things. Thats gone. I switched to Linux because the user experience is now better. Never expected that this switch happens because Windows gets worse...hoped everytime Linux gets better.
Nah Linux is clearly getting better, but perhaps Windows is getting worse faster than Linux is getting better. Easier to destroy than to create and all that.
I expect that using Rust is in some years just the sign for vibe coded shit that only doesn't crashes every two minutes because the compiler is stopping the AI from doing the really dumb things.

They didn't know that the product they were using was one of their opponents. That's the entire complaint, that it represents a conflict of interest to engage in direct competition with your customers, who aren't competing with your main business model.
If Google or Microsoft suddenly got in the business of publishing books, and mined established authors' works in progress for material to publish, that would also be a bad look, even though we know that they likely have access to our files.

When you want your unpublished work unpublished, don't store them on other peoples computers. Especially not on people their job it is to use data to create money.

27 years ago we named this link virus. It worked well on DOS, Windows and on every other OS where the user who executed a infected file had enough access rights to change other executables.
But this one is crippled because there is only one file that can infect other files.
What tells us that OpenAI had no idea about it? Only OpenAI tells us that. What when this agents got the order to do so, just to provide us with new information how far OpenAI models are beyond what we supposed? I see no evidence that this is not just a big promotion show to gather more investment money.
However, I see no evidence that it is the start of Skynet without the knowledge of OpenAI. So, happy judgement day!
