Total population (341M) is the wrong divisor. It’s so much worse.

Count the number of Americans who would have an ID worth scanning (aka ages 18 or over): 269M [1].

Or the number of Americans with a driver’s license: 212M (2013) [2].

Excellent catch. Somehow even worse than I first thought.

Can you share which model and harness created this situation?

I remember this “time” in my US classroom where we were all punished with if one person damaged classroom property (or worse, school property) but no one was willing to speak up and tell on the offender.

I have similar stories from our local neighborhoods where another parent might yell at you but the tales of your exploits made it home before you did. And there consequences waiting for you.

It’s a matter of timeline, not country.

By the late 1990s, I started to see said teachers pushing kids along as to 1) not deal with them again, and 2) pressure from district/state to not have as many failing students a.k.a. optimizing for the metric.

I use rspamd.

This might be a little heavy if you’re solely looking for DMARC validation, but I use the other parts of rspamd as well for inbound email.

For a library, I mainly write Go and I use https://github.com/emersion/go-msgauth (formerly known as go-dkim).

Thanks for the correction. I guess I had a mis-paste that stripped out the leading part of the hostname... weird.

This just brought back bad memories of websites manipulating the clipboard when copying text. The ones that append the website attribution with full URL is a crime against humanity.

It's the same incentive that exists in certain corporations and government agencies which have a use-it-or-lose-it budgeting model.

It can be even worse than that, like having budget adjusted down if you don't spend it the previous year

I worked at a college, didnt make much, but it annoyed me endlessly that my pay was forever fixed unless another position opened up, we had to spend the budget on tech worth more than I would have been more than happy to have extra per year, but me getting a meaningful raise was a bridge too far for the accounting department. They even questioned if any students used our lab, which was the only way many of them got through their degree.

Here's an odd request for you, as a fellow New Jersey-an...

Can I watch/observe one of your review sessions?

Every few weeks, I hear the beginnings of a great approach towards working with LLMs but I rarely see it in practice.

If you're open to this, remote or in person, ping my username at gmail.

It’s like the old firewall meme, reincarnated.

Oh nice. Thanks!

Looking at the Popeyes menu, the 8pc family meal is $32.99 and feeds 3-4 people (3218-3738 calories)

If that’s not enough, you order the larger portion, not double your quantity.

12pc family meal: $42.99 for 4-6 people (4992-6032 calories)

16pc family meal: $52.99 for 6-8 people (6766-8326 calories)

Have you folks seen a Popeyes family meal? They’re not tiny… eating that many calories in one sitting is not the best idea.

Half those calories are from the drinks. Like I said, pour it down the drain, it just pumps the numbers.

Their family meals don’t include drinks.
