I don't blame you for your solution but it is so sad that we have to basically pay protection money to Google now so that our loved ones don't get scammed and robbed while they are consuming addictive/slop content.
If you think that is bad... Recently I discovered that even a tiny website with moderate textual content basically forces adoption of cloudflare due to incredible (~2k request per second at times) scraping by bots.
It isn't even a shakedown, they are genuinely protecting you from others. But how did we get to the point on the web that this is needed?

Depends what your definitions of "requires" and "full" are. On mine there's some nagging on the scale of once every tens to hundreds of seconds if it thinks I'm not paying attention. You're willingly living a more stressful and unsafe life if you're still manually driving your car in 2026.
That's pretty much exactly my organization, instead of a big box I split them into smaller tubs. USB is further divided via labeled bags into USB A->C, USB C, Lightning, and "misc". On top of those I have a R/C car battery/charging tub and a home automation tub.
There are some 3d printer models for building grids of individual cable organizers (https://makerworld.com/en/models/946444-gridfinity-cable-org...) but I have too many cables and my collection is too dynamic to well-utilize something as static as that.
I love this, thank you for this write-up. A breath of fresh air amidst the pervasive negativity here. I’m going to buy the game to play coop with my sister and then when my kids are old enough I’ll do a coop play through with them as well.
If I went by the prevailing sentiment on HN/reddit, I wouldn't have: worked at FAANGs, bought Teslas and used FSD, had kids, bought a Bambu 3d printer, used Apple products, stayed in America to start a family, and so on. Each of these things have made my life meaningfully better. So I'll be buying No Man's Sky partly due to the complaining here and I'm sure I'll enjoy the hell out of it.
Not sure if online people are just always negative about everything or I happen to be cherry-picking instances where they were wrong, but going against the grain has worked great for me so far.
FSD 14 lite, which is now available for the HW3 (~2019-2023) Teslas, is surprisingly good. I have a HW3 and HW4, and while HW3 isn't as confident and competent as HW4, it's good enough that I don't mind it anymore. My wife was planning on trading in the HW3 for a new Model Y next year, and now she might just wait a few more years.
There’s a difference between on-topic discussions relevant to the post and “discussions” that veer off into the same emotional tribal rants that we see constantly now. We try to ignore it but the constant negativity and “us vs them” is not healthy, let alone meaningful discussion.
Yeah I’m gonna have to go ahead and push back on this. It’s getting worse and trending towards Reddit and using that guideline to tell people to stop talking about it is making things worse. We need to shame and downvote and flag the Reddit-tier posts and comments here.
