Predicting human IQ through someone's social media posts and written responses to text with AI models using all our proprietary IQ data at https://www.riotiq.com
Riot IQ | Software Engineers, Product Designers, AI Native Fresh Grads | Seattle, WA | REMOTE (US) | Full time | https://riotiq.com
I'm Robert, cofounder of Riot IQ. We're building RIOT IQ, a professional online IQ testing and cognitive assessment platform for psychologists, researchers, clinicians, employers, institutions, and curious individuals.
We're US based and 100% remote. We are hiring software engineers, full stack engineers, product designers, design engineers, and AI native fresh grads.
The most interesting project is building an AI based human intelligence predictor using our in house assessment data. That means working with response patterns, timing data, item performance, scoring, validation, dashboards, model evaluation, privacy, and product UX.
You might work on a variety of things as well but all related to predicting human intelligence.
What matters most to us:
1. Strong product sense
2. Clear communication
3. High ownership
4. Taste in software, design, and user experience
5. Fast learning
6. Interest in AI, cognitive science, psychometrics, or research tools
Useful experience includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node, Postgres, Python, data pipelines, ML workflows, dashboards, edtech, healthcare, or research tools.
Compensation is $90k to $180k depending on role and experience, with equity for the right long term hires. Visa sponsorship is not available right now.
To apply, email robertneir@riotiq.com with your resume or LinkedIn, GitHub or portfolio, and a short note on what you would want to build at Riot IQ.
The real moat will be the user base they've built during that time. I could copy every feature of their website within a few weeks, but I couldn't copy that.
except AI writing is near 100% detectable. check out something like pangram. no matter what you generate, the cadence of their word choices, sentance structures, etc. are always the same and often blantently visible in the prose. in fact i doubt an LLM of any size now and into the future can properly write without a "fingerprint". real writing, in almost any language, given the possible combination of writing even just a few sentences, even given valid grammar, already exceeds the number of atoms in the universe. because LLMs are transformers, they will always leave behind clues.
https://www.riotiq.com -> An AI model to predict human IQ with 90% accuracy. Our research team first needed to build the only ever professional online IQ test to collect the massive amount of raw data needed to train a model. We are starting model training now:
IQ Test Platform (https://www.riotiq.com) I've been working 3 years on this. We developed our own professional, modern, proprietary IQ test and IQ testing platform for individuals to test themselves and to administer professional IQ tests to others. Lots of silicon valley folks seem to love it for their startups and hiring, but we built it mainly for IQ researchers from the International Society For Intelligence Research (ISIR) and psychologists.
