I got so fed up with my support system, and after years of using tools like Intercom, I built my own platform with everything I've ever wanted in a support desk. The biggest upgrade for me was the MCP connection. I can pull down a ticket with a bug and solve it with Claude (or Codex) and get the agent to fix and then draft a reply in my own voice. It also allows customers to connect their agent to my support desk and ask questions. This would be agent to agent with a human in the loop. But the normal day to day stuff is mainly live support or AI enabled support.

amazing - that’s a great link. loved reading this.

And for 1x1 screens ..........................

Hey Team, working on a project that makes it easier to track time on Mac.

- There's a desktop app tracking the title bar and time you spend in each app. - You can use this 100% free, or sync this back to https://heygopher.ai to match the time up with your active projects. - if you use HeyGopher you can manage your time, team, projects, quotes and invoices.

This pairs pretty well with my normal project https://goodsign.io which is a Docusign alternative that is pay as you go. No subscription.

sooo cool!

Project, Time, Expenses, Invoicing and Quoting app. https://heygopher.ai

- look for feedback on the Freelance Rates calculator https://heygopher.ai/tools/freelance-rate-calculator

Nice — freelance ops tooling is a real pain point. The rates calculator is a good acquisition hook.

One thing I've noticed building in this space: freelancers are remarkably bad at collecting testimonials from clients (who usually love them!). The workflow ends after the invoice is paid and nobody ever goes back to ask for a written review. Worth thinking about whether that's a hook you could add — "invoice sent, client paid → automated ask for a testimonial."

I'm building something adjacent to that problem: socialproof.dev. Would be curious what your users say when you ask how they handle testimonials.

Loving how well Ghostty works and looks. When running several Projects I need quite a few tabs as all these AI agents take sometime to complete. Overhead tabs get real messy very quickly. Multiple windows become a nightmare quickly. Side bar tabs have been my solution.

I love iTerms sidebar tabs - I add emojis to mine for my key projects and any subtask just lives under the master tab like a folder.

Would love to see sidebar tabs - or it sounds like I can code my own.

i just texted Karl to say he’s on the front page of HN. I was the same. Charles was soo good for ol AMF!! Still miss Flash.

cool - played a few games. When you connect the wrong dot you cannot undo it? I couldn't figure out. Clicked the line, clicked the previous dot and clicked reset button.
