At least in NZ around when they closed 2G the govt created a group of some kind which went around and put up a bunch of 4G towers in more remote areas, the key thing was the towers went owned on xyz company, so everyone who visits the area regardless of the telco they use get the same great signal.
*having said that, it's still sad 2G was closed, it had truly impressive coverage, with few cell towered required.
Is how it should be country wide in my opinion. Way too many towers up everywhere just so xyz company can get coverage there. Leaving no 1 company to have the "best" coverage.
Me too. I've got an M3 Mac Mini running as a linux server with parallels, but it has a weird NIC bug that crashes the mini every few weeks, keen to get of macOS and it's buggy NIC driver. (really don't want to send it into an Apple repair shop, there are non local here, it's a whole thing)
Were you a Mac/Windows or Linux user? Personally I was an early adopter of Firefox and it worked great on Windows, but on Mac for a long stretch of time it was significantly slower than other Mac first browsers.
Firefox also has this weird non-standard (for Mac) scrolling for the longest time, and the UI was dated.
Most of these things were not true on the Windows side. At least not to the same degree.
Same. I found Firefox was fast on Windows at the time, but on Mac it was so slow (compared to Chrome), and had weird non-native scrolling for the longest time. As a Mac user it felt like they developed for Windows, and occasionally do some work on the Mac app too.
I think he means, get cloudflare to cache your content, so the traffic never reaches your servers to begin with. Assuming your sites content is cacheable by cloudflare. I agree it's a sad state of affairs if you have to rely on a 3rd party..
Maybe I'm not understanding how many requests at a time bots are sending to kernel.org (or how larger kernel is), but couldn't they have a local cache system too, where all it has to do it serve up dumb .html pages, needing next to no compute cycles.
Same things for me, but I was already "normal" weight, but fixed my lower back pain was... exercising. Back exercises, not just walking. Go to a gym and get a plan made out.
You don't need to become the next hulk. If you sit all day, as you get older you can get away with less and less, at some point you need to start exercising (and not just 1 type, a range), your bones don't just hole up your body on their own, building muscle around them fixes a surprising amount of Aches and pains you get as you age.
Maybe it's just me but I always saw gym people are the crazy bodybuilder people, but in this modern day in age most people need some level of gym (a lot of it you can do at home too with minimal gear).
*Talking to people sedentary lower back pain people.
Most of the Stargate series were filmed in Canada too. If you pay attention you'll realise the planets they visit all look like Canadian forest, or an old quarry filming location.
Even funnier is when actors and extras re-appear across series. Or the random extra has an unapologetically Canadian accent. Xfiles and SG1 are guilty of this.
The rate goes up and down with inflation, high inflation, high interest - low inflation, low interest.
But even then, yes some banks still offer no or 0.5% accounts.. because they can, and many people can't be bothered to figure out a better option, or "trust" there bank and don't want to move. (or the bank has high interest account, but make it complicated to use)
