Show HN: Tesana – An AI game engine that builds quality games end-to-end (tesana.ai)

Hey HN! I built https://tesana.ai/en, a game generation platform that allows anyone to create full games with graphics, game logic, and animations from a simple text prompt - without coding.

Tesana has three key features 1. describe your game idea and have Tesana write a game plan for you 2. Build the game iteratively with AI, or let AI self-build the game in a build LOOP. 3) Launch the game on the web, without setting up an engine

Tesana has 250 000 builders on the platform today

I believe the democratization of game making is a good thing, and hopefully Tesana can help more people bring their game ideas to life.

Happy to chat about the AI or dev stack behind the product. Let me know if you have any questions/comments/feature requests!

Some of the games really look like obfuscated theft. E.g. Rubberhose Ruckus is clearly Cuphead, and even includes a peashooter. I don’t understand why basic ethics have gone completely out the window nowadays.

I had this sentiment a year back. No modesty, implying the AI is the source of the anti-procrastination app/ periodic table explorer/ 3D solar system, not the hundreds of free blogs. Google ran a TV ad where the AI came up with ways to explain colors to a blind boy and sure enough, it was present in the content of lots of special-needs education websites.

Could also be a way to demonstrate the power of the system - showing how it can implement the games you already know and love.

Whoa! You're not kidding. Though the boss does have a hit point meter :)

Has Tesana produced anything worth making yet? So far, all I've seen are janky and shallow, often plagiarised.

"quality games" screens of copy pasted games like balatro

Interesting. Are there any other services lie this or is it the first of its kind?

If you mean "Lovable" but for video games, I see them heavily promoted on Reddit pretty frequently (Rosebud and Astrocade seem to be popular).

I think you should change the prompt in your landing page with a video demo-ing the app. Right now the prompt doesn't work, after I typed something it asks me to login, and if I created an account it asks me to pay. If you are not gonna let us try the demo, make a video.

Smoke never loads it just errors out on ios.

This is, of course, incredibly cool.

I think many people are mad because they've been arguing for a long time that this is impossible.

And it's embarrassing for them.

HEH. Struck a nerve?
